Illustrator for Military Life: Stories and poems for children

Quinette Cook has held a variety of creative roles during her career, including production artist, art director, designer, brand design manager, and creative director. Currently she is a freelance illustrator and is writing her first middle-grade novel.

She used watercolors to create the soft and playful images in Military Life: Stories and poems for children.

Quinette lives in Minnesota with her husband, two children, and a Weimaraner named Jazz. She holds a BA in commercial art and design from the University of Minnesota. She is the Minnesota Regional Advisor for Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
